Terms of Service
Last updated October 3, 2026Meal Hookup is run by SciCoTherapy Labs LLC (“we” or “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Meal Hookup. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Meal Hookup. The short version: Meal Hookup only helps members find each other. Swaps happen between members, in person, at their own risk. We don't make, handle, inspect or guarantee any food, and we don't screen members. Use good judgment, meet somewhere public, and read the safety tips.
Who can use it
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You need an invite from a current member, and each invite link is for one person.
- One account per person, using your own mobile number. Never share a login code; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
- If we've removed you from the app before, don't create a new account.
What we do and don't do
Meal Hookup lets members post meals they can trade, propose swaps, chat, and rate each other. That's it. We are not a party to any swap, we don't take payment, and nothing is sold through the app.- We don't prepare, store, deliver, inspect or approve any food, and we don't know how it was made or handled.
- We don't run background checks or verify who members are, where they work, or anything they say.
- Ratings, nicknames and profiles are what other members post. They are not our endorsement.
Food and meeting in person
You decide whether to swap, whom to meet, where, and whether to eat what you receive. You do so at your own risk. Ask about ingredients and allergens before you swap, and don't eat anything you're unsure of. Only offer food that is fresh and that you would eat yourself, and be honest about what's in it.Meeting people from the internet carries real risks. Meet in public, keep it short, and trust your instincts. We aren't responsible for anyone's conduct, on or off the app.Your job and the law
You are responsible for making sure that what you offer is yours to trade, including following your employer's rules about staff meals and any food safety or other laws that apply to you. Don't offer anything you aren't allowed to give away.Rules for members
